  Re-start Bible Quiz
I thank you very much for taking special care in sending the missing issue of the magazine. I humbly request you to continue the Bible Study Quiz which gives more strength to improve the knowledge in the Scripture and strengthens the lives. Hope you will take interest in helping your readers like me.

  A Blessing
I came across your magazine recently and found it quite a blessing. There were a lot of articles portraying good teachings from the Bible. I enjoyed the article by Billy Paul on "Workplace Ministry." The article was timely and straightforward. Please send me 5 copies of August edition. I would like to share this magazine with my Christian colleagues in my office.

Julia Paulin, Bangalore

  Spiritual Nourishment
I have been reading your magazine since last few months. There are a lot of good articles for spiritual nourishment. The article. "A Frightened Spectator or a Fierce Soldier?" By Duke Jeyaraj was a real powerful message. Thank you for bringing such articles to us.

  Growing
Very glad to see Light of Life growing from strength to strength in terms of both format and contents. J. N. Manokaran starts his article "Run with a positive purpose" (July) with a telling allegory. The message is clear. Whatever we may be 'when the sun comes up, (you) we better start running.' Life is like a race. We are like athletes. Our goal is to win. For that we should free ourselves from 'entanglements' and run with 'perseverance' (Heb.12:1). Also, we should keep to our 'track' (Matt.16:24). We should run the race with the purpose of bringing glory to God! (1 Cor.9:26). In a race the athlete who crosses the finish-line first is declared a winner but in the race of life 'if we have finished the course, we have won the race.' J. N. Manokaran concludes his articles so nicely. Yes, the race before us is like a marathon. We need disciplined life, physically and spiritually, in order to finish the marathon.

  Timely Editorial
Considering it is quite a challenge to step into the big shoes of a great leader, Brother Jacob Ninan should be complimented for taking up the onerous Editorial responsibility from Bro. P. Abraham (who blazed a trail during his tenure) and adapting to it like duck to water. Absolutely there can be "no argument" of the fact, that his editorial was timely, practical and relevant at a time most of the Christians are "locking their horns" on doctrinal matters. Christians may not see "eye to eye" with their brethren on all issues' but the situation should not escalate into an "eyeball to eyeball" confrontation. Ideally, all Christians should be well-grounded in Scriptures to ascertain for themselves as to what others (even famous preachers) are saying is in conformity with a Christians' constitution-THE BIBLE- or not.

Suresh Manoharan, Hyderabad.

  Superb
The articles and the contents of the magazine are superb. Every word, phrases, clauses and sentences has its own spiritual weight for individual Christian as well as the church for nurturing and edification.

May the good and loving Lord continue to bless you, your staff and the contributing editors. May He endow you all with the needed spiritual discernment and the wisdom from above.

Rt. Dr. Rev. Ginhankung Zou, Manipur

  Eye-opener
The excellent editorial, “Dowry” in LOL 2012 August issue must serve as an eye-opener to the colour-blind society, which is so terribly infected with the fatal disease of dowry practice. It is sadly prevailing even among the s0-called educated and cultured elite.

It is really painful to know that even those who pose themselves as church member are not an exception to this obnoxious and abominable evil practice. It is baffling to know some of the churches are shamelessly encouraging and even indulging in this pernicious practice.

P. Samuel Manoharam, Vizag
