Shiny Jacob

Trust God in everything.

Pain, trouble, sickness and sorrows are for all, it does not have any criteria. You may be good or bad, righteous or sinner, if you are born as a human being, you will have to face all the challenges in life.

"The length of our days is seventy years--or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away" (Psa. 90:10).

It says that whether we live short or long, we will have to face sorrows.

But there is a difference when it comes to a believer and a non-believer.

A believer knows that he is not strong enough to sort out his issues and so he humbles himself before God asking for help.

"Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall" (Psa. 55:22).

A believer holds on to this and waits for God to answer. And our God is a God who answers when we call upon Him.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze" (Isa.43:2).

Isnít that enough for you and me? God Himself saying that He will be with you. The Lord of lords, the King of kings, the Creator says that He is there with you. Should you worry anymore?

Carry your problems, your worries, your sickness, your pain to the Lord, He is waiting for you.

A person who does not know God, tries to solve problems by himself. He may come out with solutions, but it will be only for a short period. Then comes a stage when he becomes so much frustrated and disappointed that he will find alternatives for attaining peace of mind.

Nowadays there are many easy ways to find peace of mind. It can be through drugs, alcohol, pubs and much more via internet.

But remember one thing, that the joy which you get from such things are not joy, but a slow poison which will kill you day by day without your knowledge. Itís like a parasite which will eat you up.

If you are already into such things, stop it right now. Itís never too late to come back to our Lord because He is looking on to you with love.

Come back to the Lord, He will carry you in His arms and show you the right path.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Pro.3:5-6).

Grace Of God
Let's not be mistaken that all our problems will be solved. God never promised that. He promised to carry you through, which means that when you face problems, God will give you the grace to handle it.

God allowed Satan to harm Job because He knew that Job had the faith and strength to endure it. God will never allow problems beyond what you can bear. He knows your limit and maintains the boundaries.

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it" (1Cor.10:13).

God knows your weaknesses and so He does not expect a sinless life from you. Instead, He wants you to know that you are a sinner and that, only the blood of Jesus can cleanse you.

One thing He expects from you is to trust Him in everything. He does not want anything from you, but only 'You'. Come and confess your sins, He will teach you how to live.

Submit your life. He is calling you today with love, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isa.41:10).
